The feud that Nick Kyrgios has been waging towards Jannik Sinner in current months over the Clostebol case may discover a last conflict on the upcoming Australian swing, which is able to open the 2025 tennis season. Nick answered very truthfully to the query he obtained in the course of the Australian Open podcast on the topic.

“One player I would like to play against when I come back is Sinner. I would like to play against him at some point, hopefully not in my first match when I come back! But it would definitely be on my calendar,” he mentioned.

Kyrgios had the prospect to coach with Novak Djokovic over the last version of Wimbledon and it was the Serb who gave him that little little bit of confidence he wanted to consider in his restoration.

“I was playing with Novak at Wimbledon and he said, ‘You don’t look like you’ve had surgery.’ That was the key motivation for me to say, ‘Well, maybe I’m making some progress to get back to playing,’ because I didn’t really know. If he hadn’t said that, I don’t know if I would have been as motivated and kept pushing myself on the court, but when he said that to me it was definitely a big part of the journey,” he defined.

After knee issues and surgical procedure on his proper wrist, Kyrgios will return to the courtroom in 2025 on the ATP 250 match in Brisbane, scheduled for 29 Decembe to five January 2025.
