Elena Rybakina has certified for the third spherical of the Australian Open 2025 by beating the rising star Iva Jovic in straight units, with the ultimate rating of 6-0 6-3, beating the second teenager in two rounds of the match.

The Kazakh, after beating Jovic, talked within the on-court interview analyzing what she loves about her tennis and specializing in what she manages to do in Australia throughout the little free time accessible.

“Usually my serve helps me a lot. This time it was a little bit more difficult. Overall I think I played well. While I’m at the tournament I don’t have much time. I don’t do anything interesting, to be honest. Usually right after the tournaments. I love the animals here and the nature. It’s nice to go to the beach and see all the animals, like kangaroos and that kind of stuff,” she advised.

Rybakina then talked about her younger opponent, complimenting her and predicting an awesome future for Jovic.

“She’s still very young. I just played another girl in the first round who is very young, great future for both of them. She’s already playing really good tennis. I’m looking forward to playing more matches against her,” mentioned Elena.

The previous Wimbledon winner then spoke about her work with new coach Goran Ivanisevic, explaining: “Goran is a funny guy. We didn’t know each other very well before. We needed a bit of time to get used to each other. So far I think we’ve done a good job in the preseason. I’m looking forward to winning some titles with him,” she mentioned.

Within the different girls’s singles matches, there was a win for the match’s No. 2 seed Iga Swiatek, who beat Rebecca Sramkova 6-0 6-2. Additionally qualifying had been Emma Raducanu (6-3 7-5 in opposition to Amanda Anisimova), Dayana Yastremska, Emma Navarro, Daria Kasatkina and Yulia Putintseva. Additionally within the third spherical was Ons Jabeur, who eradicated Maria Osorio.
