I like how he’s approaching Australia, I see him very focused on the things he wants to improve or on the things that haven’t gone so well this year. He knows he has to improve on the ups and downs during a match because it’s a mental thing and not a tennis thing.
We’re looking for a player who is a 10 in practically everything. You have to enhance your skills and improve your defects. Obviously, those ups and downs that he suffers on the court are one of his flaws, but a lot of times it has to do with how fresh you are or how motivated you are, that’s why we want to make sure that he comes motivated to every tournament, that he plays his best tennis every week,” he stated.
