ITF President David Haggerty mentioned in a press release: “We are delighted to partner with the Italian Tennis Federation for the Davis Cup Finals. Italy has a rich history in tennis and a proven ability to host world-class sporting events.

We would like to thank Malaga and Andalusia, as well as the Spanish Tennis Federation, for being great partners in helping us take the event to new heights over the past three years. We are confident that over the next three years, working with the FITP, we can reach even greater heights by providing an unforgettable experience for players and fans.”

The President of the Italian Tennis Federation and Angelo Binaghi expressed his satisfaction for the unimaginable achievement.

“We are thrilled to have been chosen to host the event and look forward to welcoming the world’s best teams to our country next November and for the next three years. Italy first competed in the competition nearly 100 years ago and is proud to have lifted the iconic salad bowl three times as world champion. FITP will work closely with the ITF to deliver a spectacular event for fans,” he defined.

We recall Italy received the final two version of the Davis Cup, whereas the ladies’s crew received the 2024 version of the BJK Cup, for an historic doubles.
