In his podcast Served with Andy Roddick, the previous American tennis participant believes that Nole employed the Scot for his tennis intelligence.
“Djokovic can come in, take you off the court, play defense, do all these things, but is he still the best attacker on clay? I don’t know. Jannik Sinner probably took him, Sinner is younger and can probably create more pace at this point, but it doesn’t mean he’s a better player overall. But what has Andy done in the last four years of his career on the court? He’s tried to solve problems,” defined the American.

Roddick mentioned that the wrestle the Scot confronted within the remaining years of his superb profession will probably be a price for Djokovic at this age.
“I think Murray has the highest tennis IQ I’ve ever seen. He’s competed with these kind of superheroes without a dominant shot on the court and without being faster than them. He’s a detail-oriented guy, he’s a master at analyzing matches, he’s one of the most detail-oriented guys ever. The fact that I say Novak at 38 is not as good as he was at 32 should not be up for debate. And Novak chose him because he knows he wants those conversations, he feels he needs something a little different right now,” added the previous US Open winner.

However not solely that, it’s a wave of nostalgic euphoria for the thousands and thousands of followers of the Serbian champion and the British legend. Djokovic and Murray, pals since they began their journey in tennis, have fought limitless battles on the tennis court docket, of their careers. MThe Scot is aware of Nole and his opponents nicely, and he is aware of completely what are the wants of a tennis participant like Nole. It may very well be the proper mixture.
