Aryna SabalenkaWorld No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka is amongst 10 WTA gamers demanding extra prize cash and a higher say in essential selections.

On March 21, ten of the highest eleven ladies within the WTA rankings, as per rankings from the week of March 3, signed a letter addressed to the administrators of all 4 Grand Slam tournaments. The message, additionally signed by the highest ten males’s gamers, requires a higher share of match income and extra say in key selections affecting their careers.

The letter opens with a request for an in-person assembly at this month’s Madrid Open with Grand Slam management: Craig Tiley (Australian Open), Stephane Morel (French Open), Sally Bolton (Wimbledon), and Lew Sherr (US Open). The gamers emphasize their want to be included in what they describe as “decisions that directly impact us.”
