A Russian tennis insider dropped a bombshell as Stefano Vukov is reportedly set to accompany Elena Rybakina in the course of the Australian Open. 

In August – simply three days earlier than the beginning of the US Open – the world No. 6 fired her coach of 5 years beneath mysterious circumstances.

Just a few days later, rumors began swirling round that the Croatian was faraway from the WTA coaches checklist and there have been additionally claims that Rybakina was verbally abused by the 37-year-old.

After being out of motion for 2 months, the 25-year-old returned to motion on the WTA Finals. 

Since so much was stated about her break up with Vukov whereas she wasn’t competing, reporters wished to know if there was any fact in these rumors. 

And answering the query, Rybakina stated it wasn’t true that she was verbally insulted or abused by her ex-coach.

“Well, I know that a lot of I guess rumors going on. But honestly we just part ways with Stefano. I think we had incredible results over five years. We achieved a lot. I started with him when I was 200,” the Kazakh stated in Riyadh.

“I think it’s just now next chapter of my career. I want to make the next step. But yeah, I did stop with Stefano, like as any other coaches and players do, so…” 

In the meantime, the world No. 6 performs in opposition to Laura Siegemund on the United Cup on Wednesday and he or she will definitely be requested to handle the newest report.
