Consider it or not, Jessica Pegula predicted that Madison Keys would win the Australian Open if she delivered her degree from Adelaide because the 30-year-old now jokes that she “told everyone” what was going to occur.

The 29-year-old’s run to the title was all but a cakewalk – besides Sabalenka, she also faced Iga Swiatek, Elena Rybakina, Elina Svitolina and Danielle Collins. 

But she had an answer for the two top-ranked players in the game, as well as some other pretty strong names.
