Denis Shapovalov harshly responded to Jannik Sinner’s followers who had insulted him within the earlier months. An assault that got here after a number of months in the past the Canadian ended up on the heart of criticism from followers and colleagues for a submit printed on X following the preliminary ruling that cleared Jannik Sinner of doping costs.

Denis on this case referred exactly to the controversial submit on Sinner, complaining in regards to the unkind remedy he obtained from Italian followers.
“It seems like X people just hate and attack everyone. This was something that happened to me with Italian fans when I made a comment about the Sinner case. It has nothing against Jannik, for me it was just the principle that it should be the same for all players, but a lot of Italian fans like to think of me as a madman,” he analyzed.

“Different rules for different players,” wrote the Canadian, whose remark instantly went viral: all began by this remark, some month in the past, in August. Social media had been naturally divided and there was no scarcity of messages of disapproval, in addition to messages that shared the perspective.
Just a few days later, confronted with quite a few insults, Shapovalov revised his speech, specifying: “Honestly, it had nothing to do with Jannik. For me it’s just a question of how they handle each situation differently, depending on the player.
It’s not fair that some tennis players have been suspended for years for contamination, and others are able to play and are just trying to sweep it under the carpet. There are a couple of other athletes who have never tested positive and have missed a couple of tests, receiving an 18-month ban.”
