A backstage digicam not too long ago captured Aryna Sabalenka and her group, together with her boyfriend Georgios Frangulis, in a second of frustration after her runner-up end on the 2025 Australian Open. Sabalenka, understandably upset after lacking out on her third consecutive title at Melbourne Park, mimicked urinating on her runner-up trophy—a gesture that many have discovered inappropriate given the circumstances.
But another excuse why Sabalenka is so unlikeable: Her and her group fake to pee on the #AusOpen runner’s up trophy.

This isn’t the primary time Sabalenka has discovered herself in a controversial backstage second. After dropping the 2023 US Open closing to Coco Gauff, Sabalenka was recorded angrily smashing racquets and tossing them into the trash, one other incident that sparked dialog about her emotional reactions to defeat.
