Alex de Minaur acknowledged that Carlos Alcaraz is a really troublesome opponent to deal with but in addition famous that he feels he’s a greater matchup for him than Jannik Sinner.

“Lots of people within the tennis world know this. It’s the enjoyable factor about tennis that not as a result of one man is ranked at a sure degree and the opposite man is ranked at a sure degree, the upper ranked is at all times going to win,” the world No. 8 said.

After making this point clear, de Minaur added that he “fancied my possibilities towards Alcaraz nevertheless it did not go my approach.”
